The mission of IJEF is to foster innovation, advance academic excellence, and enhance understanding and practice in education at all levels.
2. Manuscript Submission
- Eligibility: Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration by any other journal or publisher. Submissions should be relevant to the scope of IJEF.
- Format: Manuscripts should be submitted electronically through the journal’s Online Submission Form. All submissions must be in English and follow the journal's formatting guidelines.
- Cover Letter: Authors must include a cover letter explaining the significance of their research and confirming compliance with IJEF editorial policies.
3. Peer Review Process
- Review Model: IJEF employs a double-blind peer review process, where both the reviewers and authors remain anonymous. Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two experts (one external and one internal).
- Review Criteria: Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on the soundness and coherence of the research, significance of the topic, and quality of writing. The primary goal is to enhance the accuracy, clarity, and comprehensiveness of the manuscript.
- Decisions: Possible decisions include acceptance as is, minor revision, major revision, or rejection. Manuscripts may be returned or declined without external review to expedite submission to another journal if necessary.
4. Editorial Decisions
- Authority: The final decision on a manuscript rests with the Editor-in-Chief, who considers the recommendations of the reviewers.
- Transparency: Editors are required to disclose and manage any conflicts of interest and uphold the confidentiality of the review process.
- Ethics: Editors must ensure adherence to ethical standards in publishing and investigate any issues of plagiarism or scientific misconduct.
5. Publication Ethics
- Integrity: IJEF is dedicated to maintaining the integrity of academic and research records. This includes checking for plagiarism and fraudulent data, and publishing corrections, clarifications, and retractions as necessary.
- Author Responsibilities: Authors must ensure their submissions are original, provide proper attribution, disclose any conflicts of interest, and adhere to ethical research practices.
- Reviewer Responsibilities: Reviewers are expected to provide unbiased, constructive feedback and maintain confidentiality regarding the manuscripts they review.
6. Open Access Policy
- Access: IJEF is an open-access journal, meaning all articles are freely available worldwide upon publication without any restrictions or charges. Articles are published under a Creative Commons license, allowing for maximum dissemination and reuse.
- Visibility: By adopting a gold open-access model, IJEF aims to enhance the visibility and citation frequency of research, facilitating rapid sharing and utilization of knowledge.
7. Article Withdrawal and Retraction
- Withdrawal: Articles accepted for publication but not yet formally published may be withdrawn under specific circumstances, such as multiple submissions, duplication, errors, or violations of ethical guidelines.
